This is a great video. Facts that all my “big breaks” have come from putting myself out there via social media and then using that as an enabler to talk to people. Either in person or online and a mixture of both. Some examples I can’t discuss as the individuals are either not doxxed or would prefer me not to share. Some reached out to me and some followed me and reached out in person at different points. My own personal highlights that I can’t discuss share; - I slid into @RaoulGMI dms many years ago and following that Raoul appeared on my podcast, my FIRST guest. After our talk and recording had finished I said to him “you should look into $XRP more” he replied “I was going to do some research and write a report on it” I jokingly replied back “I’ll write up a report for you so you don’t need to do the research” I then left the chat and thought, fuck it, I am actually going to do that. The next day I blasted out a 17 page splurge of everything I knew about Ripple and $XRP at the time. I then sent it to him. Raoul emailed me back saying “this is brilliant, exactly what I’ve been after, would you mind if we published it to GMI?” After some edits and the addition of information about @FlareNetworks (pre launch), we published it. July 2021. - SWELL 2022. I got an invite because the husband of a lady who is quite high up at Ripple (he was in finance too) followed me on socials and DMd me asking if I wanted to come. Whilst at SWELL I saw @HugoPhilion standing alone. I wondered over, much like @KevinHart4real in the clip below. I said to Hugo who I was, praised him for his work. Said I didn’t want to take his time but exchanged numbers. Some while later, he appeared on my @LegitBrosX podcast a couple of times and we went for lunch. This lead to me speaking to him about helping with $FLR and marketing / messaging. Now, these are just two examples, but the point is, just do it. If it gives you butterflies or makes you feel uncomfortable then definitely do it. This is where most people stop and the thing that separates you. You have to back up the confidence with your work and personality, but the extra little bit is the thing that makes the difference.
