The x402 integration everyone's talking about is also coming to @BioProtocol. bioXP will be more valuable than ever.
$BIO Season 2 is starting. The x402 protocol will be available on @BioProtocol in Season 2. This will allow agents to receive micropayments. An added advantage is that in Season 2, researchers from the community will be able to issue their own scientific IP tokens and generate revenue from micropayments with the appropriate infrastructure tailored to their functions, further strengthening their research.
$BIO stakers will now earn more BioXP and additional rewards. They're also integrating @AerodromeFi, meaning eligible tokens launched on Bio will be tradable on @Coinbase from day one. This will provide a significant volume advantage.
In Season 1, 5 projects were funded in areas such as stem cell, men's health, and psychedelic science, with over 8,000 participants. With this season's updates, we'll now be able to earn even more XP.
The vesting model is also changing. To ensure a fair distribution for Ignition participants, 20% will be distributed in the TGE, while the remaining 80% will be distributed linearly over approximately 30 days. This will significantly reduce early market risk.
With all these Season 2 updates, the $BIO token is no longer just a governance tool it has also become the liquidity, staking, and incentive layer of the ecosystem. With Season 2, the system has become more open and sustainable for both users and researchers. We will continue to earn money together in Season 2.
